Best burger ever great food and great prices

Good hamburger, friendly staff. My wife and I said we would go back. My Google maps did not take us exactly to the location? The map said we were there, but initially I couldn't see it and my wife noticed it was around the corner.

Staff are very friendly. Food is great. I have been coming to this location for 13 years. This is a great burger stop!

Middle of the road, location has been upgraded and the staff was good with good food presentation. The food on the other hand 👎the burger was cold and burned on the edges, bacon was stringy. With the outside seating the homeless are hanging around trying to panhandle.

With my husband driving, I had the bags of food in my lap. It was so hot and fresh it was burning me! Fries were good, chili was nice, burger was DELICIOUS. Can't wait to have another Vick's for lunch.

Always have a good experience. Grilled chicken sandwich, Tostadas, and yes seafood platters are my Fav

My first visit here and omg not a very good one. We literally sat in the drive thru 15 minutes then when the guy got to the window he didn't know what we ordered once he figured it out we paid & sat another 10 minutes for our order. Good thing my husband checked the bag because they didn't give him the chili cheese fries. The guy took the order back to get the correct fries HOWEVER once we drove off we noticed they dumped literally dumped cheese and chili in the BAG of fries causing the bag to tear and stuff get real messy. I actually drove outta my way from my hotel to try them out. On a good note the burger was pretty good even after I lost my appetite waiting. I wish I could say I'd return but it's still undecided. Horrible horrible business. The chili and cheese that was dumped in the fry bag was the cake topper! Unrealistic!

Love thier burger & fries combo

This place is not as good as it used to be. Where to begin. First they gave us our meals wasmwas three drinks so we gave it back to them then we have to wait a while to get the food we already waited about 25 minutes in the Drive-Thru at only three cars in front of us. My drink was watered down. All of our breads were wet on the bottom bun.and the fries were very cold my daughter's kids meal Burger look like the meat was cut a third quarter off. I will never ever come here again I will also give my word of mouth to other peopleapeople my bad experience.

My grandmother used to always take us there back in the 80s. Still to this day it's the best burger joint corpus could ever have. I've taken my children and hopefully one day i can take my grandbabies to have a home burger.

Service was great, employees are very kind and welcoming... Everyone was friendly and clean... Value was great ...food was delicious!!! Definitely returning 😊

The burgers are fantastic! I suggest getting it take out. So crowded at lunch. Good sign, not really a complaint.

Some thing is different here. The burger itseld tasted different and seemed undercooked. Wish I would of gotten something else.

I had high hopes for Vick's, an historic restaurant (the new one that serves now is next to the original). It gave the impression of a no nonsense eatery that appealed to me. I ordered a bunless burger with double meat, bacon 🥓 pickled jalepenos, friend pickles, pepper jack and cheddar. The quality of a burger comes down primarily to the meat - the beef had a strange texture almost hotdog like, as if they had pureed the beef. There was no texture and it suffered for it. The bacon was cooked so hard that is was quite difficult to eat. They were stingy with the fried pickles which were mostly hard batter. I will not be returning. It looked nice which got my hopes up.

Friendly workers, great food and clean place!

This was the first time I have tried Vick’s and I will have to say the burger was not great at all. I ordered the shroom burger, the burger had this freezer type taste and the mushrooms seemed right from the can (at least grill them). The reason for the two stars is because the sweat tea and fries (even that they were not fresh) were good. Sorry but I will never go again, I’m sure their other plates are decent by reading reviews but this is nothing I would spend my money on.

I loved it! The burgers were juicy and tasty. The fried pickles & ranch, onion rings, and fries were delicious! Restaurant was clean and the service was good. All around I'd say it's worth getting through the construction to eat there! Good Job Vicks Family Burgers!

I love burgers but can not recommend this place to anyone. The burgers were not from scratch, bought frozen. Dry sandwich all together. Limited selection for sodas, nothing diet. I personally will not go back

Agh meaty toasted bun homestyle burger...I got a double. Best way to harden the arteries(I didn't get fries though). Get your face full of burger when your in Corpus and stop waiting for those corporation places to figure out what type of "processed" to feed you next.

One of the top drive in burgers. Really large .25£ patties. Cooked w some sizzle but not overcooked. Unique lunch bun that could not have been 12 hours old. Fresh cut 5/16 inch fries. Is rate it a strong 8 out of 10. And prices are better than fair.

The building looks nice and is clean too. The parking lot was very descent as well. Only down side is the lack of landscape and the small amount of construction. The burger I tried was the ultimate burger. And it was a very delicious! If you are in the area there really is no place around that can top this place and is definitely worth stopping by. (No food picture I ate it sorry 😐)

A favorite place for tasty Burgers. Good place to relax and unwind. Fast, efficient, and courteous service. The prices are good for what you get. If it wasn't far from my work I would come by more.

My first time this the place and honestly I'll never go back.. The dining area was clean, ample parking but I ordered the fish and shrimp platter and it was horrible. The fish looked like miniature, extra fried, chicken strips. I didn't taste any fish at all.. And the shrimp were over fried and again did not taste anything like shrimp. The fries were hot but soggy. And I didn't appreciate the faces when I asked an employee for tartar sauce and lemon.. Come on people, y'all can do better than that. At those prices , I expect lemon and tartar sauce with my meal. Believe you me, the food needed all the help I could give it..

The mushroom burger was good but the fries had no love at all! The texture, the taste seemed like a mix of stale and fresh fries plus some fries were cold inside. We were faithful customers but not anymore. If your cook doesn't have love for cooking then shut down your place or find someone that does have love for cooking.

Good burgers, would have given 5 stars if the cook would have gotten the order right. Ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers and he/she forgot the bacon!🤦🏻‍♀️

Old restaurant, new place. Great layout and seating. They have outdoor seating. The food is 100% authentic. Try the ultimate burger. Lots of flavor in that burger. The fries are fresh and hot! If you love burgers and america style food. Eat here. Great gurb!

Really good food.

I had Vick's on my saved places for our Corpus Christi trip, and we decided we wanted some good french fries before heading back to our AirBnb. We're glad we stopped at Vick's. Sadly, we weren't hungry enough for a burger, but from what I could see, they offer a large selection of burger choices. The fries were fresh cut, not frozen, cooked just right, and quite good. The RB float was made with soft serve ice cream and we liked it alot. I've seen some reviews that really smacked down Vick's, but I believe that if you want a really good burger, fries and a shake...go to Vick's. They're not a chain; they offer an old-time burger joint vibe and the food is good. If you're going to Vick's for some kind of "fine" burger experience, you're going to the wrong place. Don't overthink it.

I had the hamburger meal. Fresh meat and produce. The buns were toasted. It was very enjoyable 😊😁😀. Someone was constantly in the dining room cleaning and stocking. I'll definitely be back.

I was heading to one of my normal eats until i seen Vick's. It looked inviting. Id go back. The drive through attendant was friendly. The wait wasnt long.

Refried too many times, the fish , shrimp and fries. Too expensive for their food and need customer service training for the owner,and employees. May God Bless y'all.
